Who do we help?
We assist young people aged 16 to 25 years within Hart District, or with a Hart District connection, who are homeless or have been threatened with homelessness.
How Do We Help?
We are based within the Yateley Bureau of Hart District Citizens Advice
We work in partnership with agencies and local authorities to obtain the best accommodation solutions for our clients. We do not charge the client or landlords for any of the services we provide.
What Can We Offer?
- Information and advice on issues related to homelessness
- Assistance in finding accommodation
- Help in completing forms to obtain benefits, employment or training
- Practical assistance and support in maintaining a tenancy and resolving tenancy issues
- Negotiation and advocacy with other agencies to resolve problems
- Access to mediation services
- Rent deposit scheme for young people with a local connection to Hart
- Emergency night stop accommodation (subject to availability)
- Toiletries and food starter packs for clients moving into accommodation
- Help for Landlords
- Provision of information packs for landlords
Continued support once housed
We are Open:
- Monday 10am to 4pm
- Tuesday 10am to 4pm
- Thursday 10am to 4pm
- Friday 10am to 4pm
